Nutrient solution recipe
Describes the ingredients and quantities used to prepare that solution.
These are connected, but they are not interchangeable. The same target profile may require a different recipe when the available fertilizers or source water change. Keeping the profile and the recipe distinct makes your plant nutrition plan easier to understand and repeat.

More than an NPK ratio
NPK stands for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, three essential plant nutrients. However, a complete hydroponic nutrient solution also needs other macronutrients and micronutrients.
A ratio alone does not describe the full feeding solution. For example, two solutions can share the same N:P:K ratio while containing very different nutrient concentrations.
